PUBLISHING STANDARDS

Editorial Policy

This policy describes the standards applied to HIVDatingClub content. It does not claim staff, reviewers or credentials that are not documented in the project.

Topic Ownership and Usefulness

Each URL should answer a distinct user question. Related pages may provide enough context to be understandable, but the full answer belongs on the page assigned to that topic.

Content is tightened when it repeats another page, adds filler or uses generic language without helping a reader make a distinction or decision.

Medical Sources

Medical and sexual-health claims should be checked against current high-authority sources such as CDC, HIV.gov, NIH, WHO, NHS or appropriate peer-reviewed evidence.

Numbers are omitted when they are unnecessary or cannot be verified. Community discussion may identify questions people ask, but it is not used as medical authority.

Legal Information

Legal content distinguishes general information from individual advice. Jurisdiction-specific claims require current verification, and uncertain state-law details are not filled with assumptions.

Readers are directed to official statutes or qualified legal help when an individual decision depends on current law.

Updates, Corrections and Limits

Content should be revised when reliable evidence, law or product information changes. Unsupported claims should be removed rather than disguised with confident wording.

The current project does not document a medical advisory board, lawyer-review process or named fact-checking team, so this policy does not claim one.
