REVIEW METHODS
How We Review Dating Platforms
A useful platform review separates official product information, independently observable details and anything that has not been verified.
What We Evaluate
Relevant criteria can include who the service says it is for, geographic availability, profile visibility, communication limits, price disclosure, blocking and reporting tools, account deletion information and practical usability.
A large audience claim is not enough. The useful question is whether the service’s features, access and community fit the reader’s needs.
Official Information Is Identified as Official Information
Pricing pages, help centers, app-store listings, privacy policies and terms can establish what a platform currently publishes. They do not prove that every feature works perfectly or that every marketing claim reflects a typical experience.
Time-sensitive details should be checked again because plans, prices and availability can change.
What Is Not Claimed Without Documentation
The current project does not document reviewer accounts, paid subscriptions, messages sent, private feature tests or named reviewer identities. HIVDatingClub therefore should not imply hands-on testing that did not occur.
When a conclusion depends only on public information, it should be described that way.
